สี่ดรุณี (Little Women) เป็นนวนิยายที่เขียนขึ้นที่บ้านของเธอในเมืองคอนคอร์ด รัฐแมสซาชูเซตต์ สหรัฐอเมริกา และใช้สถานที่นี้เป็นฉากของเรื่องด้วย นิยายเรื่องนี้ตีพิมพ์เป็นสองตอน ในปี ค.ศ. 1868 และ 1869 ตามลำดับ

เล่าเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับชีวิตของหญิงสาวพี่น้อง 4 คน คือ เม็ก โจ เบธ และเอมี่ มาร์ช โดยใช้ประสบการณ์วัยเยาว์ของอัลคอตต์กับน้องสาวทั้งสามเป็นแรงบันดาลใจ
